Strategist

Jean-Maurice is a community organizer turned digital strategist and tactician. They specialize in crafting and executing campaigns that connect people to the movements that need them. With an emphasis on racial justice, electoral strategy, and grassroots mobilization, they design plans that seek to empower those at the crossroads of marginalization.

Prior to joining the Resonance network, Jean-Maurice was the senior-most digital strategist at the Movement for Black Lives, an ecosystem of 150 Black-led organizations, leading the digital efforts of all organizational campaigns including the Red, Black, and Green New Deal and the first ever National Black Climate Summit to discuss plans to combat Climate and Environmental Injustice! Some of their previous and current clients include Rainforest Action Network, Indivisible Project, Nextgen America and several state, local, federal, and presidential election campaigns.

Jean-Maurice’s favorite hobbies include nomad-ing with his partner Jordan and their mini-dachshund Hakeem, binging Thai and Korean dramas, and writing essays on Medium about queerness, politics, and ghost hunting.
